rinse powerhead?

I have a TLDI 50. Wondering if it's ok to rinse the powerhead with fresh water or if I'd do any damage to the electronics, etc. Getting a little salt build up on some of the hoses / wiring.

Right. Just don't go nuts with a pressure washer, that could push water past o-ring seals on the wiring connectors.

I wash mine every year. I also make sure its all dry before I start it up. I blow it off and Let it dry a couple of days before starting, though that's probably overkill.

Apply W-40 on small brush and brush paint all parts from time to time, will avoid salt formations & corrosion. That way will extend product well where needed avoiding flooding engine with excessive W-40 burst sprays. As there is no product waste, can will last much looonger...
