I don't know the source of the wheels for my home made trailer and I need a spare. They are four-hole rims, holes are approx. 2 7/8" apart with P155/80 R 13 tires. Any ideas what vehicle they may have come from, probably a pre 1975 vehicle?

Re: Rims

Call a tire dealer who deals witrh rims or make a paper pattern of the lugs and go hunting in a junk yard. Just try to get a wheel with the same offset.

Bob

Re: Rims

You in the US? Bring one of your wheels/tires into Discount Tire, Big O Tires, Tire Barn, or any of those types of places. They'll likely be able to get you a brand new spare wheel/tire combo for $50 to $70.

You can also mailorder, but shipping usually consumes any savings over a local purchase.

Almost ALL four hole rims are the same bolt pattern, regardless of diameter.

Only if it started life as a Trailer.........That would be 4 bolts on 4" centers.......

Cars are a Whole Other Story.........

Re: Rims

If its a four-bolt wheel, measure diagonally from one bolt center to another (not between adjacent bolts). That measurement is the bolt circle.
