I have a 2000 yamaha Vmax 150 hp. The manual says to use a NGK BR7HS-10. I purchased the Autolite brand #4902 which is supposed to be the same as the NGK, less the resistor. My questions is...Does anyone know if different brands of plugs really make any noticeable performance differences? Do i really need a resistor plug? I know that it eliminates radio interference but when im running accross the lake i dont listen to the radio anyways. <br />Thanks, Jason

Well i think it is a good idea to have the resistor!! It is less likey to interfear with your Fish finder, GPS, and other eletronics. As for performance I am not sure.
