Does any one out there know if twin Mercury 75HP engines can be rigged such that one outboard can be elevated using the power trim so prop is out of the water while the second engine is still being used to propel the boat?

Howdy ERR446.

I don't see any reason why not. I've seen it on many larger engines.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

Re: Rigging Twin Outboards

ERR446, e-mail me if you are interested in a set of Mercury Quicksilver dual controls, 4 Mercury cables 19 ft. length, and 2 complete 20 ft. wiring harnesses with key switches, and 2 Mercury tachs. I'll sell all or parts of it, just to get some spring fishing lure money that mommy won't gripe about.

All parts are 1996 and are like new. I have all of the Mercury numbers that you can enter into the www.mercurymarine.com parts express section, to double check everything.

I bought twin motors and controls from a guy in December, and I only needed a single engine control set. He would only sell it to me as a package.

My e-mail address is seadawg007@hotmail.com

Thanks,
