I have a 1972 Drifter houseboat. It has a 215hp MerCrusier I/O engine. The steering cable froze. It is a ride Guide Cable We are looking for a replacement cable. It is 40 ft long with rack and pinion power steering. Do you know of anywhere I could find replacement. Would replace rack or go to a different system if need to. Found 52 ft that we could make work but it says that not for power steering but looks the same. Would this work? Any ideas?
