Revolving Hole Punch for leather will it work on canvas?

Slowing getting everything i need to replace my camper enclosure for the boat. I have a revolving hole punch tool for leather will that also work for sunbrella canvas?

Maybe...if it's sharp, and if you use a leather backer when punching the hole.
