Reverse Throttle Throw Adjustment?

I have a 1989 Evin 120 with a center console mounted single lever throttle/shift control. I'd like a little more throttle available for reversing, eg. panic stops, docking, etc. When control lever is in full back position I only get about 2000 rpm. Where is the adjustment?

Re: Reverse Throttle Throw Adjustment?

Howdy, Mako.

I don't think it is a good idea to change the reverse throttle limit, But if you gotta:

Inspect the throttle linkage at the carbs. See what happens when the throttle/gearshift is reversed. There should be an adjustment screw on the throttle blocker that comes into play in reverse.

Adjustment must be made under load.

Good luck.
