I need some help on the reverse adjustment on a 1968 mercury 1250. When I put it into gear all it does is grind. Sometimes it will go in but 90% of the time it will just grind.
First you need to adjust the cable to move the cable more movement to the rear, if that don't help the you could have a bad rev. lock cam problem or the upper shift shaft is twisted in that order
