Reusing Nyloc Outdrive Nuts

Hi just wondering if anyone reuses their nyloc nuts from outdrive mounting bolts. I wasnt aware that their only technically one time use? Any input would be great thanks

I've re-used them but they do have a torque setting,that said,when they wear they will not torque properly or stay properly.I've done enough of them where I just look at em,if they look/feel loose replace them. If in doubt replace.

I have reused them also and if they seem like the nylon doesn't seem to be working anymore, then yes replace them OR heat them up and the nylon will solten and flow a little making them usable again... Just go slowly with the heat...

I re-use them unless they can be run on all the way with your fingers. At that point they get replaced.

I've re-used them and use the OMC gasket sealer which keeps water out and makes em easier to remove. I think mine are original (25 yrs old LOL)...
