both look awesome.

No, a Thunderbird was made by Formula, newer, similar, tri-hull, but nicer styling. Was used regularly on the "Flipper" Dolphin TV show.

I'm pretty sure the truck is an inboard.

I'm old enough to have ridden in a boat like that and if memory serves, it road like glass. Big water, I have no idea but for small wind chop, it seemed very nice.
