I bought a 1985 Larson boat to get the engine, transom plate and the outdrive. The trailer looked king of old and rusty on the picture, so I was just going to either donate the boat and the trailer to anybody who wants it. But upon closer inspection, I realized that the trailer is a Shoreland'r with the rollers and despite being rusty and having really old tires (the couple I checked were from 2005 and I'm surprised they made it home 100 mile trip), the trailer was in a restorable condition. I will repaint it and clean it from the rust. It has a couple problems with the brakeline, broken in one place and completely drained of the brake fluid. The brake actuator is ok, however, the main container does not have a filler cap and tbh, I just dont know where to look for it. It has about 1/2 to 5/8" diameter opening ( will have to measure it) and probably there was a plastic filler cap. The question is, where can I get it, or should I just go to the Copperstate Nuts and Bolts and find a short bolt of an appropriate diameter and use it as a cap? Thank you.
if needed, I can post a pic of the trailer and a brake actuator.

Most likely a UFP actuator, however if you simply email the vin to shoreland'r, you will get a detailed parts list

I talked to my boat mechanic and he said that it is one of the old attwood actuators and the parts for them are not made any longer. Also he told me to just sell the trailer as it is since in Arizona the rollers are causing more damage to the boats during transportation and are essentially useless, since most (if not all) of the boating lakes have nice boat ramps that do not need the rollers for boat launching and getting them back on the trailers. Also he told me not to bother with the brake lines either, he said it is a waste of time. So I changed the tires, painted the wheels repacked the bearings, changed the bearing buddies, one was made out of the old coke can :( Will finish the wiring, make sure the lights are working and that will do. I will sell this trailer with the stripped boat hull (boat hull will go as a free addition).
