I did see the story. Astounding for kids to survive such a long ordeal. I cannot imagine what it must of been like for them, or the reaction of loved ones hearing the news after grieving for nearly two months.

I want to know how they caught the seagull! Great ending to what could have been very different.

This explains they didn't go fishing at all!!
Life is different in the Pacific, that's for sure.

I've done some dumb and costly things in my day, sniffing after the fairer sex, but this one does take the cake!

I am sure, that after this, they will be more circumspect in how the choose to pursue the opposite sex.

It probably just landed on the boat. Believe it or not, they do his sort of thing pretty frequently, especially far out to sea.

She had better have been a hotty, that girl.
Or perhaps, they were looking through the bottom of a glass or two. :)

Makes you kinda wonder about the crybabies aboard the stranded cruise liner who complained about the air conditioners not working and not having any hot coffee for a couple of days. Waaaa. Get a load of these snobs. Really life is ending without your morning cup of coffee. These kids were in a small boat in open water with no aircraft carrier next to them for three days to provide for them as they returned to port. Although the circumstances that these kids put themselves into in the first place is stupid but to be able to rally and survive and learn your stupidity is another. Good on them.

SHAZAM!! This has the potential to be one of the great tales of the sea.

Achievement or just experience? Hard to tell without some detailed narrative from the edventurers.

Don't count on journalists to tell it like it really was.
