Request info for 40HP Johnson Outboard Motor....

I recently purchased my first boat and it came with a 40 HP Johnson motor. With not much to go by, I am trying to gather enough information and literature regarding the motor so that I have reference material on hand. I have attached 2 pictures of the motor (only ones I have until tomorrow). After some research on the web, I believe it may be late 60s to early 70s. Can someone please confirm this for me?! Also if anyone has links or information that will help, please feel free to post. Thanks in advance. Regards.

My best guess is that it is a 1960 / 61 model.

Thank you for the response! Tomorrow I intend on taking pictures of the actual motor and perhaps that will shed more light. Is there anything specially I should look for that will determine the year?
