I guess it would work. I just removed my powerhead and it wasn't really that big of a deal (I do have a cherry picker unlike many). When I removed the shift shaft it just pulled straight out after the PH was removed, so I guess that would work just fine.

Just heard ALOT of bad nightmares in pulling the powerheads... I have a full auto shop at the school I teach at as well as an overhead power chainfall in the welding shop.... I just worry about breaking bolts...
