Replacing Volvo Penta exhaust bellow

Hi, I'm new to boating and have to replace the exhaust bellow on my 2008 SX-A outdrive. Does the outdrive need to be removed? If not, is it easier to attach the transom or outdrive connection first? Both are connected with clamp rings. Or, do I just bring it to a mechanic and let them do it!

Just looking for some input before I attempt this.

If you've never replaced either bellows on a 5 year old boat, you need to do both bellows, along with a lot of other maintenance. Like inspecting the gimbal bearing, ujoints, engine alignment, etc....and yes you have to pull the drive off to do all of that. Start by reading all the sticky's at the top of the VP forum....then come back w/ questions.
