Replacing the impeller on Merc 5.0

[240 Sundancing in AZ]

Folks..looking at doing this myself...just need some assistance in finding the impeller location, and an idea of degree of difficulty. Boat info - 2000 Sea Ray Sundancer. 105 hours. motor is original Merc 5.0 thunderbolt ignition, Bravo 2 out drive..thanks for the insight.

Duh...Bravo 2...thanks for pointing that out...I think the impeller is on the engine though...not the drive right..

Ayuh,... I believe you'll find the raw waterpump down Low, starboard forward corner of the motor....
Degree of Difficulty, is entirely dependent on how much boat was built around yer motor....

Make sure ya get the water hoses back onto they're proper ports,...

Question please............. Can you just bolt on a new impeller complete unit rather than taking it apart to "rebuild" one.. 5.0 0m012817 Bravo 3.
