replacing motor

I currently have a 1993 351 hooked to a hurth transmission and it is time to replace the motor. Will a chevy 350 bolt up and will there be a lot of trouble doing the conversion? Has anyone ever replaced the motor while it is in the slip?

I would think you would need the GM bell housing flywheel, and coupler plate to fit the hurth.
