Has anyone ever tried to change the way the front door opens on there boat. Mine just opens like a normal door but I have seen some boats where the door has to be lifted first before it will open .The door sits in a track in the deck. I think Tracker is one of these boats.

You don't have to change the door, just the hinges.

Try www.pontoonstuff.com or everythingpontoon.com. I rebuilt my 24' JC Tritoon and installed the lift hinges and they work great. I cannot remember who I bought the hinges from, it was one of the two. Don't forget the base plate the door latches in.

Ya, our boats are that way too, the hinge has quite a bit of vertical play so it can lift and it sits in a plastic holder.

You would think you could get them somewhere but I have never looked, if you can find the parts it should be pretty easy to do.
