Replacing floor boards on 86 Dorel Bowrider

Brother in law recently purchased an 86 Dorel Bowrider and the floor boards in the front area appear to be rotten. Is this a big job to replace or a do it yourself kind of proposition. Advice appreciated. Any tips !

If it is an aluminum boat, it is cake. If it if a fiberglass boat, it is hours of mind-numbing, really itchy, dusty, smelly, sticky fun that seems to never end. Yes, you can do it yourself, but research it to make sure that is a route you want to take.

Thanks Jason....*I think* (kidding) It is a fibreglass boat and the floor boards are wood. Sounds like a winter project to me.
