I have a 20 foot Fisher Liberty 180 and I would like to replace the esisting carpet with either a marine vinyl or some type of pour/spray on cover. Will I have to remove all of the seats and console to do this?

It is easy to remove the seats but not the console. I recommend you remove all seats but work around the console. If you choose to spray, mask the console and place a base around the console when done.

Good luck and report back with pictures.

Well the carpet was put down then the boat built on top of it so to do it right you should pull everything, if not you will have carpet trapped under the rails and console.

It all depends on what you want to end up with, if you don't mind a little carpet under the rails then don't pull them, you may be able to just take the con loose and work under it then you would just have to work around the wiring.

The poster stated that he was replaceing the carpet with vinyl or a spray-on. While removing everything down to the bare deck is the corrrect way for replacing carpet, I question if the final results is worth the work for vinyl or spray-on. Only the owner can answer that question.
