replacing captains chairs

I have a 2003 sea pro 180cc that has captains chairs. I want to replace them with a cooler chair. My question is when installing the cooler seat should I be worried about the location of the mounting screws. I don't know whats underneath the seat. Is the gas tank under there? Or do I have nothing to worry about?

I was just thinking about this on my 98. I hate those captain chairs. I hope we get an answer

I have a 94 180CC and the tank is under the CC not the under the captains chairs look under the CC you should see a round plate that covers the fuel sending unit if you see it that means your tank is under the CC.
