I have to replace my fuel sender in my 2000 SV2100. The fuel sender unit is NOT directly under the deck plate , it is about 4-6 inches from the deck hole. Has anyone had to change their fuel sender in this same model? Any suggestions. Could the fuel tank have slipped backwards causing the fuel sender not to be directly under the hole?

Re: Replacing '00 SV2100 Fuel Sender???

I also had to replace mine and it wasnt directly under the access!!
I couldnt reach 2 of the screws and was able to drill holes over them and fanagle the unit out. I think it was just bad quality control when it comes to the deck mounting. I see how old this thread is, but I thought Id tell ya that I felt some of this Pain myself. I actually read this thread before I replaced mine and was thinking about it the while I was unscrewing the deck plate! I was happy to find I only needed to drill 2 small holes. Whats the odds there?

Hey Guys with '00 SV2100's, do you by any chance have a boat manual? I have been looking for one that can help me understand my boat better.
