Well the monster that dwells at 32' out in the channel out in the bay came up and bit off my skeg and chewed up the prop this evening. Go figure. Does anybody have a good source to buy a replacement skeg to weld on? Even a Honda part number would be helpful. It is for a Post 1999 gear case for a Honda BF 90. Thanks. Maybe I will post a picture of it later. It's a pretty gnarly one, you'll be impressed.

I recommend a SkegGard, A37.

Check the MegaMall. I am sure there is a model that fits the BF90.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that I have enough aluminum left to bolt one on.

Just take it to a good welding shop and they will cut a new one out of 1/4 inch plate and weld it on. Make sure they don`t weld for too long at once and warp things. The bolt on skegs are not much good for anything, and just add drag.
