replacement rectifier

I need to replace the rectifier on my 1996 OMC 150 Fast Strike outboard. Are the Sierra or Arco rectifiers OK alternatives to the OMC part? About what should I expect to pay for a new rectifier? Thanks!

Expect to pay around 200 clams for an OMC.Can't speak for the engineering quality control of the other brands from experience.If I had a choice for aftermarket ,I'd probably go with Sierra.I've used their plugs wires and IMO they are better than stock.

I believe 586075 is the OE part number.

I'd get one from CDI if they make one. I should have picked up their parts book the other day at the show but I didnt.
