Replacement Ignition Switch 1976 Mercontrol 85 HP

We just bought a boat with an 85HP Mercury Outboard that has a Mercontrol throttle system (1976 I believe is the year). Previous owner was using a screwdriver to start, after a couple instances of stalling on the water want to be able to replace the ignition switch. Taking it apart seems like the old key broke off in it. Any idea where we can order a replacement ignition switch or if there is another alternative?

Do you have the s/n of the engine and is this the control box you have?

I don't know where you're located, but you could order it through a local outboard repair shop that works on Mercury motors or find an outboard junk yard. A place like Twin City Outboard could probably send you a part if it's not available elsewhere.
