Replacement ignition coil

1996 Merc 9.9 4-stroke. Coil 825668T no longer available. Is there a coil from a different application that would work? I did find a used unit but I'm leery of expensive used electrical parts with no guarantee. Do I have any other options?? Thanks.

Take with grain of salt, but new 9.9 appears to use same coil but has different connectors 803559A02

test the coil. its most likely something else.
