This is my first post here, however I have been around boats for pretty much my whole life, and about 2 years or so ago, I got my first boat, a 2003 Sylvan Seabreeze 1200 aluminum semi vee, and last year when I replaced the transom wood, I noticed that the capacity plate was pretty much shot, as in most of the lettering is gone, and was wondering where to obtain a new plate for it. I have looked on Sylvan's website, and have gotten nowhere with that.

Re: Replacement capacity plate

Welcome to iboats,

You'll have to actually contact them to get one. I don't know how well they respond, never heard of any dealings w/ them.

I've heard of services that can get you one but I think they have to get the info from the manufacturer, so you'd just be cutting out the middle man.

What state are you in? I know PA has a process you can follow to receive a new one.

Thanks, I'll send them a letter to see if they can help me.
