replaceing lower shift cable

I found that i have to replace the lower shift cable on my 4.3 Mercruiser yamaha outdrive. should I replace bellows and gimbel bering while it is apart? Anything else?

Ayuh,... I believe it's spelled Mongrel...

I know Nobody who does Yamaha drives, nor Parts for them, other than Capt. Ken...
