Replace starter button '96 25hp mariner tiller disassembled?

Recently ran into starting problems on my '96 25hp Mariner Elec start tiller steer. Will start when connecting directly to starter. I have replaced solenoid (all they do is the clicking/vibratiing sound). It will start when jumping directly from battery so the starter is good. I suspect starter button is not making good connection. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GET THE TILLER STARTER BUTTON OUT!? Does anyone have any good videos or instructions on how to disassemble the tiller handle so that the electric start button can be replaced? TIA!
