REplace Johnson 40 hp 4 str w/ evinrude etech 2 stroke?

Can I replace a 40 HP Johnson 4 stroke with an Evinrude 40 HP 2 stroke etech engine without having to change controls and basically just doing a fairly simple replacement?<br /><br />Thanks
