removing water control on 1986 140 rude

I've instralled the newer thermostat caps, gaskets and spring s on my 1986 140. I removed the water control on the thottle, my question is this.. The water control vale had 3 lines connected to it, 1 goes to the tell tale. 2nd one went to the old thermostat caps(been removed). the 3rd went to the midsection just below the powerhead with a tee in that goes to a wat3er pressure gauge. What do I connect that hose to? Just the pressure gauge? Plaese help. Thanks in advance.

O.K. I connected the water ine from the lower tapping, just below power head to the tail tail line. Started motor had great stream from idle up. It warmed up to operating temp and I could see from my temp gauges thast he t-stats opened up and held a good temp an both port and starboard banks. The only problem I have is the pressure gauge would not work at all. does the tee for gauge need to connect someplace else?
