I am changing engines on my 72 Glastron v212. I got the upper housing loose, but I'm having a hard time getting it out. I'm sure there's a trick to it, but the clymer manual is not much help.

When you are raising the upper gear box, use a screw drive and push the coupler on the vertical shaft down on the splines of the lower. Then you can twist the upper sideways so the lower part of the shaft will clear.
