removing throttle cable from throttle arm

1987 merc 45 ser #ob136969.
cable removed from control box and barrel released at motor. how do i remove it from the arm. metal retainer with screw clipping the end on arm but can not reach screw to lossen clip. cable binding in cable housing is the reason for removal.

can not find this in post search and manual doesnt show it.

put in gear the move throttle cable so you can get to it,

i got it . had to remove throttle-distristbor arm and lift it up over cowling...
watch out for dropping big washer behind arm. found a kink just above brass
connector. the grandson strikes again.! ha ha
