Re: removing seal glands seastar

I have a mercury single outboard with front mount seastar hydraulic steering. the seal glands are located on each side of the hydraulic cylinder. I removed the port side which was defective and replaced the seal, the starboard side wont budge. Since thet sell as pair i thought it best to replace both sides. any body have any suggestions?

Thanks
Mistylady
