Pretty straight forward as you say.Remove the cover from the back of the drive and release the cable from the clevis.Take off the trunion that went into that clevis and remove the retainer that holds the cable into the front of the drive.Unhook the trim rams ,remove the six nuts holding the drive to the bell housing,and you should be good.You may be a little sad if you find there are no grease fittings on your u-joints as this is about the time they did away with them. The gimball bearing you can lube from the outside.
