Are there more than 6 bolts holding the power pack onto the leg casing.I have removed the underneath 6 bolts screwed into the power pack but it wont budge off the drive unit, Any help appreciated.<br />Thanks
you mean powerhead <br /> most the time a power pack is a refernce to an ign component. my manaul only shows 6 bolts on the 2cyl 2 cycle 30 hp. the gasket will hold it pretty tight.
Yes it was only the gasket holding the power head on.I left it in the sun all day & just tapped it & off she came.I now need a bearing puller to remove the flywheel to get to the 2 bolts still holding the block to the lower sump.
