Hi, I want to replace both port & starboard lower mounting bolts on my F100TLRZ 67F L 310995 2000 model but it looks like the mounts will not slide out with out removing the upper case mounting bolts. Is this the case? Or is there another way to service them? Thank you.

That is the case. look carefully, you may can cut off the bolt and reinstall with new bolts put in backwards. If they are worn enough to relce you should consider replacing them all.

Thanks,
I will take a real close look at the uppers to see if they need attention. If so would I have to get a hoist to take the motor up, or pull he power head and bottom cowling to pull the bolts out of the mounts? fun :) The F100 has 1100 hrs. on it since I hung it on my whaler and I like doing maintenance on it so maybe a weekend of wrenching might be in order.
Have a great day.

Using a hoist to pull the powerhear and removing the gear case is the easiest way, Using a cherry picker to lift the powerhead normally allows you to get it out of the way without having to disconnect everything.
It takes me about half a day for the change out on a non saltwater motor.

This motor is 100% salt H2O use, I could only see the front side of the upper bolts and the nuts and bolt tip are looking good so I'm going to round up the bolts and try your reverse bolt sugestion. Thank you.
I will follow up.

Well It's all bolted up, I had to cut off 15mm to fit the bolts in reverse, also I was not able to get a torque wrench on the bolts so is it allright to just snug em up tight with a 17mm open end?
Thnx for your help.
