I am removing the gas tank in the bottom of my wellcraft. They bypassed the tank in the bottom of the boat and put a tank under the console. I want to replace the tank in the floor of my boat. My question is when I removed the access plate I can see all the hose connections and the the tank. But there is a layer of floatation about 3 to 4 inches thick over the top of the tank except aroud the connections. It is slow trying to use a scrapper to remove the floation from the tank. Does anyone know of an easier way to remove this. Is there a solvent that will dissolve the floatation. Or any suggestions of an easier way. Thanks Robintx2
