OK,I purchased this used prop off ebay and got a good deal ,($26).for a 1988 125 singel exhaust. On the back side of my trashed prop is a washer that covers the rubber, my new prop does not have one. How do you remove this.? AS usual my Seloc manual let me down. I wanted to buy a new one from iboats but, theyonly have 21p for my motor. You high ranking officers sure do a dood job keeping us dummys afloat.THANK YOU.

Buckaro,<br />That is the thrust washer. It just slides over the prop shaft ahead of the propellor. If it is stuck in your old prop, just pry it off gently with a flat blade screwdriver. It may be a little snug but will come out.<br />You got a great deal on that used prop if it is in good shape.<br />Enjoy'<br />Greg

Also you can get a prop kit that contains the thrust washer, locking tab, cotter pin, and nutfor not much money. Look at that thrust washer to see if it is pitted or scored...should replace with a new one.
