I have a 2001 Johnson Oceanpro 150 that I need to remove from the boat.I have an engine hoist to do the job.What I need to know is where to connect to pull the engine.

When i changed mine i raped a chain around the mid section, BEtween the powerhead and the shivel point on the mid section. Avoided useing polts on the flywheel and chancing the bolts ripping out and tearing up the threedsuse the flywheel to pull the motor there are 3 holes on top of it... ive also used the flywheel and the holes on the heads to remove the motor before...

As Dutch said, there are two cast in places to attach chains. That motor weighs 400+ pounds, so make sure you have strong enough stuff
