Removal of Harmonic Damper MercCrusier470

When I look into the Harmonic Damper on the front of my MercCrusier 470, I see electric windings. I don't want to damage the thing. I have my puller for pulling harmonic dampers off of car motors, like a Ford 351, but is this the same scenario. How do you get that thing off. I need it off to replace the cooling pump.

First of all.. WHy are you replacing the waterpump? If its leaking out the hole in it its time to replace the two seals around the camshaft not replace the entire pump.
