remote control instructions

Hello,<br />I just purchased a 1991 Johnson 9.9 xl shaft (for sailboat) in excellent condition. I need some help locating the basic instructions for rigging and operating the remote control unit. I have the repair manual but I do not have the original owners manual where I assume this information would be. Additionally I need (so far) the plastic piece (grommet) that secures the throttle cable as it passes through the front of the motor housing. Any info is greatly appreciated!<br />Thanks, Robert

How ya doin' J.<br /><br />Go to any Johnny/Rude dealer with your model number and they can get you a manual for the remote control. They can also fix you up with the throttle cable "kit" for the motor. Cheap. Enjoy.
