My fiancee and I are buying a house next to a lake and we thought it would be fun to get an inflatable boat to use on the lake. I'm drawn to the Intex Mariner. I've read good reviews from people who have purchased it and it's relatively inexpensive. I've seen that people attach a trolling motors to this boat. If in the future I decide to do this also, would I need to have this boat registered with the state? I live in Massachusetts.
From what I've read online, it sounds like I'd have to register it. But I just wanted to verify this from some people who actually have a clue about this stuff.
