I have a 1997 Regal Rush XR2 175 jet boat that is taking on water!
I traded some stuff for this boat, and do not have a lot invested in it, and I want to keep it that way.
I am missing the ride plate(if you have one let me know) and it appears that my leak is possibly where the powerhead meets the hull? or somewhere else in that general area!
The boat had 6+" of water in the engine bay after only 10 minutes on the water. From what I can see the hull is not cracked or damaged.
I am wondering what gaskets/seals to check? I would also like to know an affordable place to get a new ride plate? They are hard to find, and seemingly expensive.
