I am going to repaint one of my older drives that has obviouly neglected, with no anodes that I can find. I am going the whole, Alumi prep, Alodine, Merc. paint route. I have sanded down pretty good and I am considering adding a little filler to smooth out.
My question is, if I were to use a waterproof (bondo) type filler, should I use post or pre Alumiprep or post or pre alodine?

Ayuh,... Donno what to tell ya SD,...

I just brush 'em off whenever possible, 'n shoot 'em with a rattlecan of Rustoleum industrial Black...
Rattlecan in 1 hand, 'n a sheet of cardboard in the other,..
10 minutes, 'n it's over for another year...

They always look Black enough to me, when I look over the transom,...;)

The Alpha 1s only have the torque tab anode, 'n the acorns on the transom plate...

Yeah, the acorns are there. The new torque tab was in the storage under the seat. This boat has a Mercathode module. Where/what does it connect too? Is there an anode for it that mounts to the trim manifold?
