reed gasket on 1972 johnson 50

I am replacing my reeds on my 72 johnson 50hp.My intake has vacum fitting for my fuel pump but the gasket i recieved doesnt have a hole in it for the fitting,should i cut a hole in the gasket or leave it alone.The gasket i recieved is replacement for the original brp number and it covers some different 2 cyl johnson motors..Thanks

Yes, I would make sure your new gasket is an exact match to your original.
