Red Warning Light on Dash?

I ran into some rough weather on my 22 ft Angler. It has a DT225 Suzuki. The tachometer went crazy while working through the rough waves and then completely stopped working for several minutes. A red ligh on the dash kept coming on, the engine never lost power so I kept working through it. The tachometer came back up but even now the red light keeps coming on and off. Any idea what this warning light is indicating? Thanks for any advice

I guess you mean the light above the bilge pump switch between the oil gauge and hourmeter? Was the bilge switch on auto during this? The red light may mean the bilge pump is on and pumping. Was water getting in the boat?
