Red Sox's Matt Clemet Hit in the head by linedrive

One of the scarest things I ever saw in baseball happened tonight Matt Clement Red Sox starting picher was stuck by a bullet linedrive behind the right ear. He layed there motionless for at least 5 mintues with his eyes closed . Say a prayer for him and his family..........

Scan was negative, looks like he is OK. That was a real nasty whack.

Happened to a friend of mine when we were kids. He threw a nice slow pitch to the MVP of our high school baseball team. Lined it right into his forehead, picked him off the ground and leveled him, flat on his back. He gets up 10 seconds later rubbing his forehead saying.. "That tickled..." He should've been hospitalized, but I swear he could get run over by a semi and not notice.
