Red/Blue Navigation Lights

I have a '62 Jet with the original red & blue lenses on the bow light. Does anyone know is there are green replacements lenses or if someone makes a replica with red and green lenses?

I have not seen any, I have a 64 Jet. My understanding is that the older blue/red lenses are "grandfathered" in and do not need to be replaced.

The only option I can see to modernize is to buy a new bow light.

Asked a coast guard aux guy and he said "no" when I said "grandfathered?" He said that it will turn green with an amber bulb but I don't want to have to convince [insert law enforcement agency here] man of that.

Try the Amber bulb and see. That would be a quick fix.

Well I did read that an antique vessel (such as mine..lol) did not need to modernize to the new colors..Of course I can not find that online at the moment..
