What kind of information are you looking for?

Methods vary by design, but they're all bridge (diode) rectifiers with some sort of a regulator circuit for voltage control.

I am looking for something that depicts the regulation of the voltage.

This is a Yamaha diagram. Looking for something equivalent from Mercury.

The rectifier is a full wave one - 4 diodes; the regulator is a secret! This is how I added a regulator to my 850 works great holds V to 13.5.

Earlier Mercs had a singular 40Amp VR. Later Mercs had twin 20A VR what do you have?
